How long can you store whiskey in a crystal clear decanter?
It is recommended to store it in a decanter for a year if you have no intention of opening it for six months. Ensure that your crystal clear decanter comes with an airtight seal for optimal results.
Does your decanter come with alcohol as shown in the photos?
No, our decanters are designed to showcase your favorite liquor, wine, or other beverages. They are sold empty and are intended for use with spirits, wines, or other beverages of your choice. The photos are for illustrative purposes to showcase the use of decanters.
When can I expect my order to arrive ?
Please allow up to 24-48 hours for our team to pick and pack your order.
We ship all orders from the Sydney/Canberra warehouse.
As soon as your order is sent, you will receive a tracking number to follow your package as it makes its way to you.
All orders will be sent via Australian Post Standard Shipping, and they should arrive within 2-9 business days*.
Express post whipping take approximately 1-4 business days
While most packages will arrive on time, please be advised that the carriers may experience delays due to unforeseen circumstances .
What are your shipping options and fees?
We offer free standard shipping on all orders and flat-rate express shipping for only $20.
Where are you located, and do you offer pickup options?
Don Vassie Decanters/Booze&Barrels is an online retailer with warehouses in Canberra, Sydney, and Auckland. While we do not offer a pickup facility from our Sydney and Auckland warehouses, you can arrange to pick up your order from our Canberra warehouse by appointment, Monday to Friday, between 10 am and 4 pm. Please contact us to schedule a pickup time.
